I keep thinking one of these days I'm going to write long entries again. It just never happens.

Last week was eventful, to say the least. Vacation, hotel stays, casino, too much food, turning 26, working two days, tumor removal, the best help in the form of my best friend I could possibly have asked for (seriously, the boy deserves a cookie), watching too much TV, reading many magazines and books, being endlessly fascinated at how gross my stitches are, going to see Pineapple Express (better than I thought!) and learning to play chess.

...that about sums it up. :)

Birthday present from Leif - Meet Livingston Boyd. Leif had him set up on my bed with a homeless bear sign (torn from the side of a liquor store paper sack, of course) that said "Will U Be My Friend?"

He was named on the road, on the way to Mississippi. On I-59, there's a sign for two cities - Livingston and Boyd. It seemed to fit him, hence his name, Livingston Boyd. But you can call him Boyd.
